It's hard to believe 10 years have passed since a group of music lovers in our city founded Millennium Music. In 1998, we hoped that bringing a new chamber music series to Calgary would provide opportunities for concert artists at varying stages of their careers as well as new and exciting performances for audiences to enjoy. I am proud to say, as president of the foundation, that we have succeeded beyond our wildest dreams.

If you are a long-time patron of Millennium Music, thank you for enjoying and supporting a world of classical music - and you know that our 10th anniversary season will bring you more musical magic. If you are new to Millennium Music, please join us for the extraordinary musical treats we have in store for you this season.

Due to a sudden illness, Aleksandra Kurzak will be unable to perform in Thursday's concert. She has arranged for fellow soprano Iwona Handzlik to take her place. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. We invite you to enjoy the final concert in MMF's 2007-08 season with Ms. Handzlik and pianist Hong Xu.
